The rustic wooden cabins were a real escape! Super cozy and gave off this charming vibe, surrounded by nature's grandeur. Plus, the staff? Incredibly friendly, always ready to help.

The bungalows are charming and offered a cozy stay for my family. We loved the peaceful setting and the stunning views of the valley, which made our morning coffee really special while watching the peacocks wander around.

Had a decent time here! The rooms were spacious and the grounds were pretty with banana trees everywhere. The views of the mountains were stunning, but the food was super limited and kinda bland. It was hard to find good hiking info too. Definitely could use some more liveliness in the dining area.

I really enjoyed the beautiful pool area and the hotel’s close proximity to popular landmarks like the stunning Ribeira Grande waterfront and the lush park perfect for a peaceful stroll. it made for easy exploring on foot and truly enriched my stay.

Remote location provides killer views of mountains and the valley, which is a solid bonus for those who appreciate nature. The dining options exceeded expectations. Meals featured tasty local dishes like cachupa, and the kroks ice cream with grogue was a good surprise.

Accessing the place isn’t for the faint of heart. The narrow, winding roads can be tricky, especially since parking involves steep paths with steps. The air conditioning faltered during our stay, and the lack of proper lounging options near the pool felt limiting with no sun loungers in sight. The plumbing left something to be desired, with inconsistent hot water and moldy bathroom conditions. Once the sun set, the rooms would fill with mosquitoes, forcing us to choose between stifling heat or staying covered up.

The location is absolutely lovely, surrounded by breathtaking mountain views that seemed to wrap around me like a warm hug. The quaint bungalows offered a comfortable retreat, making me feel right at home while soaking in nature's beauty.

Better shower facilities would enhance the experience greatly.

The stunning mountain views captivated us. Dining on the veranda, enjoying local dishes including cachupa, truly elevated our experience. Sadly, the cabin's damp smell and ineffective air conditioning dampened our stay. Guests should bring mosquito repellent and consider alternative accommodations if sensitive to humidity.

The setting of this hotel is superb, in the

hills with a swimming pool surrounded by bougainvillea. The warm welcome was lovely, though the room needs updates. I appreciated the serene atmosphere and the friendly staff, but the dining options were limited and not very exciting.

Good hotel with free Wi-Fi, a lovely poolside snack bar, and friendly staff. They helped me find great exchange rates during my first stay! I’m excited to come back for a weekend.
